After a wonderful time at Lady Heyes, we’re getting ready to open the doors to our new home on Langdale Way, just off Fluin Lane. The best bit? It’s only three minutes away, so if you already visit us, nothing about your journey changes – just the space you get to enjoy once you arrive.
Lady Heyes has been a brilliant place for us to grow. It’s where so many of you discovered pottery painting for the first time, brought friends for a catch-up, celebrated birthdays, or simply enjoyed a quiet couple of hours switching off with a paintbrush and a cup of tea. We’ve loved every minute of it. But from the very beginning, our plan was always to move into a bigger, more flexible space once the time felt right.
And now… it really does.
Our new studio gives us the room we’ve been craving – more space to paint comfortably, better layout for groups, and the freedom to shape the studio exactly how we want it to feel. Think the same relaxed, welcoming atmosphere you already know, just with more breathing space, improved displays, and a layout that makes your painting experience even more enjoyable.
We’ve got the keys 🔑 and we’re currently knee-deep in renovation mode. Over the next few weeks we’ll be transforming the shop from the ground up – painting, planning, organising shelves, and making sure everything works beautifully for both casual painters and booked sessions. We’re aiming to open mid-February, and we’ll be sharing plenty of behind-the-scenes updates as we go so you can follow the journey with us.
What won’t change is what matters most. You’ll still get the same friendly welcome, relaxed music, and a space where there’s no rush and no pressure to be “good at art”. Whether you’re popping in for a quiet weekday paint, meeting a friend for a creative catch-up, or booking something special, the heart of the studio stays exactly the same.
